World Building Is Moving to the Cloud โ€“ Here's What to Do

Hello, Creators!

Starting with the upcoming release, world creation will transition from a local file-based system to a cloud-based workflow.
To ensure a smooth experience, we kindly ask all creators to publish their latest local worlds before the release date.

:hammer_and_wrench: Publishing Guide

  • Who: Creators who have published a world at least once
  • Release Date: Monday, February 17 at 2:00 PM
  • What to Do: Publish your most recent version of the world before the release date

 Why Is This Necessary?

With the move to a cloud-based system, worlds currently published on the Hub will be migrated.
If your published version is outdated, that older version will become the basis for the cloud migration.

Once your world is migrated to the cloud, you wonโ€™t be able to update it with a newer version from your local files. You would have to publish it again as a new world.

:white_check_mark: If Youโ€™re Already Up to Date

If the most recent version of your world is already published to the Hub, you donโ€™t need to do anything.
(This applies to creators who have no pending updates.)

Please make sure to publish your latest version to the Hub before the release to avoid any disruption.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out at any time.

Thank you! :raised_hands:
