[Release Notes v0.9.0] Beam, Trail, Studio Public Access & Ongoing Development

:fire: New Features

:one: Beam

The Beam object connects two Attachments by defining a start and end point — the beam connects automatically between them.
It can be used to create a variety of effects:

  • Laser beams from weapons
  • Energy links during charging states
  • Portal connections between entrances and exits
  • Magical light beam attacks
  • Electric weapon effects

:blue_book: See detailed usage guide

:two: Trail

The Trail object leaves a visual path behind moving objects, adding motion and dynamic visual effects.
It’s useful for:

  • Afterimages of fast-moving characters
  • Sword swings and slash trails
  • Bullet paths
  • Drift effects in racing games
  • Fiery traces from magical characters

:blue_book: See detailed usage guide

:three: Public Open Access

OVERDARE Studio is now in Early Access and is open to everyone without access restrictions.
Anyone can now try it out and start creating.
