Hello everyone!
Many of you may have already noticed this while working, but here’s an official notice regarding unit scale in OVERDARE Studio!
Unit System Information
In Roblox, positions and part sizes are based on 1 stud, but in OVERDARE Studio, the scale is approximately 20x larger.
So if you’re importing work from Roblox (such as camera offsets), you may need to scale those values up by about 20x to achieve the same effect.

Editor Usability Improvements

Level Browser now starts closed by default (previously always opened)
- In future updates, it will behave like Roblox: it will stay open/closed depending on the previous state — unless saved. For now, we believe keeping it closed is more convenient.

When using auto-completion:
- Type hints are now displayed
- Selecting a function will now automatically add parentheses

JSON to Actor Import:
- Now supports multi-import
- You can now add scripts as children to selected objects directly from the Level Browser
- Note: This is a minimal tool for development purposes — it currently does not support setting parents via JSON properties or creating non-script instances.
- This feature may be revised, replaced, or removed before public release in favor of more robust alternatives.

Lighting & Atmosphere Properties
- It’s finally here! But… one catch: the Show/Hide Service UI is not ready yet

- So if you want to use Lighting/Atmosphere, please send us your map files in the workspace channel, and we will manually add the settings for you

- We understand it’s a bit inconvenient, but we wanted to make the features available early for those who need them.
