Welcome to the Feature Requests Category!

Welcome to the Feature Requests category of the OVERDARE Developer Forum.

This is the place to share your ideas for new features, enhancements, or workflow improvements you’d like to see in the OVERDARE platform, SDKs, APIs, or developer tools. Whether it’s something that improves usability, fills a functional gap, or enables new possibilities—we’re listening.

:memo: Tips for an Effective Feature Request

To help us better understand and prioritize your suggestions, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Search First: Before creating a new post, use the search bar to see if a similar request already exists. If so, add your vote and comment on the existing thread instead of starting a new one. This helps us accurately gauge community interest.
  2. Use a Clear Title: Your post’s title should be a concise summary of your suggestion. For example, “Allow API access to project metadata,” is better than “New feature idea.”
  3. Provide Detailed Context: In the body of your post, follow this simple structure to explain your idea:
    • The Problem: What are you trying to do, and why is it currently difficult or impossible? Describe the use case or pain point.
    • The Proposed Solution: Explain what feature or change you’re suggesting and how you envision it working.
    • The Value: Why is this important? How would it improve your development workflow or benefit other developers?
  4. Are there any alternatives or workarounds? (Optional, but helpful) Mentioning if you found a temporary solution helps us understand the severity of the issue.
